Inspired by Play Intense S.A.E Fragrance NO.193 is a discontinued cult-favorite oriental-gourmand fragrance. Famous for its sleek MP3 player-shaped bottle, it builds on the original Play by adding a rich, dark roasted coffee profile with warm, resinous sweetness.The Opening: A bright, zesty burst of mandarin orange and bergamot. The citrus top is short-lived, serving primarily to lift the heavy, dark notes waiting underneath.
The Heart: The star of the fragrance emerges—a warm, roasted accord of coffee tree wood paired with exotic amyris wood and spicy pink pepper. The coffee note smells rich, dark, and slightly nutty rather than overly sweet.
The Base: The drydown drops into a smooth, cozy foundation of tonka bean, patchouli, labdanum, and veter. The tonka and resinous labdanum give it a warm, vanilla-tinged, almost chocolatey finish that clings to skin.
