Created by master perfumer Dominique Ropion, it is a famously intense, high-projection "powerhouse" fragrance. Its composition breaks down as follows.

Top Notes: An overwhelming dose of rich Turkish rose mixed with sweet, jammy raspberry and blackcurrant.

Heart Notes: Deep, spicy accents of cinnamon and clove, giving it a warm, exotic bite.

Base Notes: A heavy, resinous bed of patchouli heart, sandalwood, frankincense (incense), amber, and musk, creating a velvety, smoky, and mysterious dry-down.
