It takes the mass-appealing, designer-style sweetness of classic Layton and strips away the mass appeal to make it darker, richer, and much more mysterious.
How the Scent Evolves
The Opening: A sharp, intense blast of almond, bergamot, and watery fruit layered over a heavy, animalic accord. The signature apple-vanilla DNA of Layton is there, but it is immediately weighed down by a dark, woody-funky undertone.The Heart: As the top notes settle, a rich floral heart of geranium, rose, and gardenia emerges, intertwined with a roasted coffee note and a hint of cinnamon-like warmth.
The Dry Down: The scent settles into a dense, cozy base dominated by Laotian oud, guaiac wood, vanilla, and sandalwood. It turns into a dark, creamy, smoky vanilla-wood wrap that clings heavily to the skin.
